Al Baraka Banking Group B.S.C would like to announce that the Board of Directors Meeting held on 25th Mar 2020 at 02:00 pm in Manama – Bahrain, approved the following items:
- Election of Shaikh Saleh Abdullah Kamel as Chairman of the Board and Mr. Mohamed Ebrahim Alshroogi as Vice Chairman for the new board term 2020-2023.
- Reappointing of Mr. Abdul Malek Shehadeh Mezher as Board Secretary for the new board term 2020-2023.
- Presentation of Albaraka Banking Group results for the last 5 years.
- Discussion of Albaraka Banking Group strategy for the coming 10 years.
- Presentation of the board committees composition according to the regulatory requirements as preparation to form the required committees in the near future.
- Appointment of Mr. Houssem Ben Haj Amor in the position of Deputy Chief Executive for Development and Investment.
- Ending the work of the Consultation Committee, which has been formed at the board meeting No. 06/2019.
