Al Baraka Banking Group B.S.C. will start on Wednesday 8 April 2020 distributing US$24.8 million as cash dividends to shareholders for the financial year 2019 as approved by the AGM.
The shareholders will be receiving total cash dividends amounting US$24.8 million equal to 2Cent per share equal to 2% of the issued capital. Entitled shareholders are according to the shareholding register by end of 24 March 2020 as approved by the AGM.
The applicable Zakat related to cash dividend is (Cent 0.52 for every 1,000 shares) and shareholders has to pay their applicable zakat by their own, while the Bank will pay the remaining part of Zakat as approved by the AGM.
